GCU's Theatre & Drama Program emphasizes one-on-one artist training with state-of-the-art equipment in intimate performance venues supported by a professionally-acclaimed faculty and staff of teaching the artists. Students learn the art and craft of producing, creating, and telling stories. Studying theatre at GCU is an immersive and comprehensive experience in which students discover first-hand the skills to build, run and perform great works on stage while developing their empathy, innovativeness, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Alpha Psi Omega is a theatre honorary established in 1963 and serves as the central hub of student activities within the theatre program. Each year the APO Executive Committee is elected by their peers. APO at GCU takes pride in emphasizing community, service, and dedication to their craft.
