The cage's hours vary by semester depending on classroom need and student worker availability. Please review the hours set in our Cheqroom page.
The Digital Film equipment cage is located in the CAM building (Building 35) Room 156.
We currently have the Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve running on the computers in the lab.
The lab can be found in the Saguaro Classrooms (east side of building 46) Room 105. The lab is available to any students registered in a Digital Film course or in the Digital Film program. For the room code, please talk to your instructor.
For assignments whose submission sizes are too large or are in file types not supported by Halo Learn, your classroom should have a Basecamp set up and your instructor should have the link to the Basecamp posted as an announcement.
Using the instructions in Basecamp posted by your instructor, post the assignment in Basecamp and then, post the link and/or a document in the Halo Learn classroom indicating where the assignment submission was made in Basecamp.
In order for an assignment to be considered submitted, it must have the corresponding file in Halo Learn (you cannot just post in Basecamp).
You should always access your Halo Learn classroom through your student portal: gcuportal.gcu.edu.
From there, you should see all of your current classes listed as tiles.
Halo Learn is the online classroom management system used by GCU. Halo Learn will contain your syllabus as well as be where you submit records of your assignments. In some courses in Digital Film, Halo Learn will be supplemented by Basecamp, an outside teamwork site.
